“Parent is the Teacher” Program

PARENT IS THE TEACHER PROGRAM - Second Choice - This program is designed for parents that feel qualified to teach their child. The curriculum and check-sheets (assignments) are the same as on the Traditional Extension Program, however, the parent does the teaching and grading of all the assignments. At the end of the program, the parent mails the graded work to the school as proof it was done. Once the school receives the work, a transcript will be mailed to the parent for the child's work for the school year. All work must be sent via UPS or FedEx or some sort of tracking system if you use the United States Postal Service. The program is only recommended for parents that feel qualified to teach their child and do all of the grading on the school work.

COST OF PARENT IS THE TEACHER PROGRAM - The cost for this program is $853.00 per year. This purchases the curriculum (all new books) and assignment sheets for the courses of English, Literature, Spelling, Math, Science, and Social Studies. This payment of $853.00  is non-refundable. There are no other fees for this program. This will purchase one year of Parent is the Teacher Program. It cannot be split up by a semester. If a student needs only one semester of schooling for a specific grade, the cost remains $853.00.
