			Traditional Extension Program North Texas Academy A Distance Learning Program (972)423-7014 Traditional Extension Program As an extension student, the curriculum is organized so the student can work from his home, select his hours to study, and still be able to work at a part time or full time job. An extension student does two weeks of schoolwork and mails it to the school. The work will then be graded and mailed back to the student. While the work is traveling back and forth, the student knows exactly what is due for the next two-week assignment and starts it, therefore never getting behind in school. We use state adopted curriculum, the same curriculum found in most public schools in the United States. TUITION AND EXPENSES FOR TRADITIONAL EXTENSION PROGRAM If you would like to apply with our school, please complete the application for the Traditional Extension Program and mail it to the school. There will be a $25.00 application fee that must be sent along with your application. Once we receive the application, we will do a Graduation Program. This program will show you what courses you need to take in order to graduate from our school. Once you receive the program from us, you can decide if this is the school for you. IN A RUSH? If you are in a rush and want to enroll today, complete the application for the Traditional Extension Program and mail it to the school with a certified check in the amount of $853.00. This pays for the books you need to get started, shipping UPS, the registration fee, as well as the first two month's payments towards your tuition. We will do the Graduation Program for you so you can see what courses are needed to graduate. We will ship the books to you as well as send you the Graduation Program. Once you have paid the $853.00, tuition payments are $160.00 per month for the remaining tuition. If you need more books, as you complete courses, you will purchase them as you need them. Therefore you have two choices: You can send in a $25.00 check along with the application and we will do the Graduation Program for you and return it within a few days. Then you can decide if you want to enroll with us or not. OR You can go ahead and enroll with us, and skip the step above, and send in a check for $853.00. We will send you the books you need as well as the Graduation Program. You can begin immediately. Payments will be $160.00 per month for the remaining tuition. This payment of $853.00 is non-refundable. HIGH SCHOOL PROGRAM CONSISTS OF THESE COURSES English I, II, III, and IV (9th -12th Grade) Literature I, II, III, and IV (9th - 12th Grade) Math - This varies with each student's needs, but typically math would consist of Beginning Algebra, Algebra 1/Geometry, and Algebra II. Social Sciences - World Geography, U.S. History, World History, Economics, and Government. Sciences - 4 sciences are required to graduate - Choices are Biology, Life Science, Earth Science, Chemistry, Physical Science, Human Anatomy, Honors Anatomy and Physiology, and Honors Environmental Science. We use state adopted curriculum, the same curriculum found in most public schools in the United States.
